Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m María, a student of Human Development and Family Science with a passion for fostering strong relationships and family well-being. My long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy, allowing me to practice as a clinician and support couples and families in building healthy, lasting connections. At the heart of my journey is a deep commitment to creating meaningful relationships and helping families thrive.

As a mother, I find immense joy in nurturing my daughters Audreyana and Anastasia. My faith in God inspires me to build a strong, loving foundation for us to grow. Outside of my studies and family life, I love working with animals, documenting creative projects, and exploring ways to blend my culture and faith into my everyday journey. I value trust most in my relationships. Trust is the cornerstone of meaningful connections. From my experience, trust allows relationships to flourish because it creates a safe space for open communication and mutual support.

A moment that solidified my belief in the importance of trust was when I first met my fiancé, Dakota. He invited me to live with him, and his unwavering honesty and support during an incredibly challenging time brought me a sense of security that I deeply needed. The trust he built with me created a safe space for healing and became the cornerstone of our beautiful love story.

For me, trust is not only about words but actions that consistently show love, respect, and faithfulness. As I work toward my future career in Marriage and Family Therapy, I hope to help others build trust in their relationships so they can thrive just as I aspire to do with my family.
